Coed y Brenin (NRW)

Coed y Brenin pioneered purpose-built mountain bike trails in the UK back in 1996, and it remains one of Britain's finest riding destinations. Set in a stunning Snowdonia forest, it offers everything from gentle family-friendly routes to technical single-track.

Unlike bike parks, Coed y Brenin is pedal-powered - you earn your descents. The famous MBR trail serves up 18km of flowing single-track, while the Beast delivers 38km of challenging terrain. Forest roads provide easier options for families.

The visitor centre includes bike wash, excellent café, and connection to Brenin Bikes for quality hire. Free trail access (small parking charge) makes it outstanding value. Perfect for all abilities.
